      I like the ambilight effect of the TV and it makes it look a lot bigger. Plenty of settings to personalise the viewing. However, I do find the TV lags when changing channel and is slow if you want to scroll down the channels. It has also got slower to turn on than when I first set it up. I am not sure the picture quality is that brilliant as sometimes when watching streaming content it is blurred and far from sharp. I have fibre at 900mbps so it is unlikely to be the connection. Overall I am happy with it for the moment but will see if I still have the same opinion in 12 months time.

      Honestly so impressed with this TV. Had a previous lower range Ambilight TV which was great but the picture quality on the Xtra is night and day. The OS works really which was a suprise as am not familiar with TItan OS. I noticed there's more settings on the Ambilight on this model as well. Sound wise I am using a soundbar so can't really give a opinion on it. Modern TVs need sound bar anyways. Great price for what you get. Again I was really impressed with picture quality

      I can't recommend this at the moment solely to the horrible new "Titan OS" that's replaced the old android system. Whilst this runs ok... at the moment (Jan '25) I have no access to Apple TV or Now TV (both I pay subscribtion for). I imagine there are other popular apps not available as well, as there's no option to add more. You literally get what's installed with it... and that's it!

      In addition to this, I assumed that's Phillips Ambilight would work seemlessly with Phillips Hue... very wrong! No support for it at all with this new OS.

      Admitedly, I should have done a lot more research before taking the plunge - a mistake a shall not make again. Should have bought LG or Samsung and forked out for the Hue Sync Box.

      TL:DR:
      The TV itself is beautiful. Picture is excellent, and the ambilight really adds to the experience.
      Terrible operating system with very limited apps/no option to add
      No support for Hue

      Vorab der Fernseher kommt aufgrund der Mini-LED Technik naturgemäß in der Dicke
      etwas wuchtig daher soll aber kein Kritikpunkt sein.
      Die Installation und das Einrichten gingen
      leicht von der Hand und das Display ist gleichmäßig ausgeleuchtet.
      Das Bild einzustellen hat etwas länger gedauert bis es für mich gut aussah.
      Die voreingestellten Bildmodi sind meiner Meinung nach nicht so prickelnd.
      Worauf man bei der Bildeinstellung achten sollte ist die Bildverschlimmbesserer am besten auszuschalten.
      Die Helligkeitseinstellung funktioniert bei Philips über den Menüpunkt "Hintergrund Kontrast " diesen Wert so niedrig wie möglich halten,ansonsten ist meiner Meinung nach das Bild überbelichtet.
      Bei dem Menüpunkt Dunkelheit den "Schwarzwert" ebenfalls am besten ebenfalls so niedrig wie möglich halten.
      Damit habe zumindest ich ein gutes und kontrastreiches Bild erhalten im Bildmodus
      FILM.
      Bei der Farbsättigung und Farbtemperatur
      sollte jeder für sich selbst entscheiden.
      Softwareprobleme oder ähnliches wie in anderen Rezensionen beschrieben konnte
      ich nicht feststellen.
      Im Gamingmodus mit PS5 gab es ebenfalls
      keine Probleme alles läuft flüssig bei einem richtig guten Bild,die Umschaltung für Spielmodus erfolgt automatisch(bei mir angeschlossen an HDMI 1).
      Auch gut aber für mich nicht so relevant,da Soundanlage angeschlossen,ist der relativ kraftvolle und klare Ton.
      DSE oder Blooming konnte ich bis jetzt nicht erkennen.
      Wer ein perfektes Bild ab Werk für den Preis erwartet sollte sich vielleicht im Premiumsegment umschauen,aber auch dort ist nicht alles Gold was glänzt.
      Von mir gibt es für das Gebotene für den Preis von ca.750 Euro erst einmal 5 Sterne.
      Update 15.02.:Bewegungseinstellung auf Standard dann bleibt der Hintergrund bei Bewegung auch klar
